Searching for Family Pictures

Shirley Rosser Mitchel is my second cousin, her mother was
Eleanor Steppe Rosser, and her grandfather was Hunt Steppe, brother of my
grandfather Cleveland. Shirley and her cousin Judy Steppe Franklin, who lives
across the road, provided pictures of the Hunt Steppe family. Shirley is a
typical little cute Steppe girl.

My aunt Alice Mae provided pictures and stories of the
Steppe family in general. I love to hear her talk about the family.

My aunt Mary was 82 in fall 2000. She still drives her truck
to Rustburg laundry each Monday, though she can hardly walk upright, even with
her walking stick. Her driving has Nancy Steppe to give her the nickname “Mary
Petty.” She provided pictures and stories.
