School Photographs

Every year all the school children get their photographs taken at school. Parents buy the photographs and give them to grandparents and relatives. This practice started at least as early as 1930 because here are pictures from that era.

Three photos from Nancy Steppe

These pictures came from the box of pictures that great grandmother Emma Steppe had. Laymond Steppe inherited the box and wife Nancy Steppe shared what she has left with me. These are pictures of great grandmother Emma’s grandchildren. Left to Right: Maggie Jordan, Clyde Jordan, and Laymond Steppe. Laymond’s picture shows his schoolbook.
