Annie Steppe Family
Annie and husband David Rice lived on Campbell Avenue. She
worked at the shoe company all her life. My Uncle Gordon Steppe lived off of
Campbell Avenue and must have known that his aunt Annie lived close by. I have
not found any pictures of her family.

Annie at work. She worked at the Craddock-Terry Shoe
Company. Many relatives began their life of work at the “shoe factory”. In
fact, great-grandmother Emma Stepp lived close to the Campbell Ave factory at
one time.
