Eighth Street Steps (page 1)
For many years, the Allied Arts building was the tallest building in Lynchburg. It stands at the corner of Church and Eighth Streets. Several flights of steps lead up from Church Street to Court Street. One concrete rail of the lower flights can be seen at the bottom of this picture.
