THE NEXT DOZEN OR SO SETS ARE FROM THE LAST PERIOD OF CLASSIC GILBERT ERECTOR, 1934 TO ABOUT 1956. THE SETS WERE NUMBERED WITH 'HALF' NUMBERS.
ERECTOR 1956 No 12 1/2. Just in time for Christmas. This largest postwar set will build all of the postwar models. You can have it for $1050 which includes shipping.
ERECTOR 1949 No 10 1/2 This set has a mix of finishes; nickel, cadmium, aluminum paint and blue paint. The set was a transition set, made half way between different sets. But it built the same models as all of the sets from this ere; in particular, the parachute drop and the merry-go-round. I have built a seldom seen model, the wind mill.
ERECTOR 1950 No 10 1/2 This is a rare one year set that you can have for just $700. It is complete with reproduction cardboard with the pieces held down with genuine clips.
ERECTOR 1952 No 10 1/2 Here is a complete Amusement Park set for just $350 plus shipping.
ERECTOR 1954 No 10 1/2 Here is an almost complete set at a bargain price.

ERECTOR 1950 No 7 1/2 Erector Set This set from 1950 is complete except for paper flag, string, and wooden gearshift lever, and is in beautiful shape, with all parts pinned in their proper places. Just $100 plus about $20 shipping.
ERECTOR 1947 Number 7 and 7 1/2 Sets Rare sets, the first made for Sears Roebuck and the second in the regular line. They build close to the same models, models of steam engines. The Sears set was designed not to compete with the regular set, sold at toy and department stores. The regular set had the newer motor, parts, and models. This is the only time the pair has been recently offered for sale.
ERECTOR 6 1/2 SET This set from about 1950 is complete and will build the Airplane Ride. Just $100 plus $15 shipping.
ERECTOR 4 1/2 SET Just so I will have all of the sets listed for sale. This is not a valuable set and you can have it for just $50 plus postage. There was a 5 1/2 set in the late 1950's.
1935 3 1/2 SET This complete set from 1935 is one of the rarest of all erector sets. It was made only in the one year and did not sell well. I have seen only two sets sold on e-bay in the last 10 years, and I have both of them.. You can have one complete set for just $300, including shipping.
ERECTOR 3 1/2 SET This is a complete set from 1940. Just $100 plus about $10 shipping.
ERECTOR 2 1/2 SET This complete 1949 set is unusual in that it has parts with mixed finishes; nickel and cadmium; in addition to painted and brass plated parts. Buy it for just $50 plus shipping.
ERECTOR 1 1/2 SET This is a complete set from 1940. Just $50 plus about $10 shipping.

FROM THE LAST PERIOD OF GILBERT ERECTOR SETS, THE END CAME IN 1962. THE SETS WHICH FOLLOWED HAD A NEW DESIGN OF PARTS AND MODELS.
ERECTOR LITTLE LEARNER This set from Sears is rare and the models are not easy to build.
TWO ERECTOR AUTOMATIC RADAR SCOPE SETS Here are two of the several variations on this set from 1959-1961.
LUNAR DRILLING RIG This set is from 1962 and is from the end of Gilbert Erector production. Just $200 plus shipping, about $20.
PARTS I have parts for sale, you will need to know the finish, such as nickel or cadmium plated; and paint color such as blue or aluminum; and material such as steel of aluminum. If you can give me a year I can look in the Erector books and make these decisions. I don't have rare or old parts in plentiful supply.
